The Africa Bike Week 2015 ‘mass ride’ took place yesterday morning (26 April). The mass ride is the last scheduled event where all bikers can hit the road together before heading home. It is a 34 km mass parade starting in Shelly Beach, along Marine Drive to the Port Shepstone CBD, and then turns around towards Margate, where it ends. Since the event’s first year in 2009, the ‘mass ride’ has always been a powerful experience where Harley-Davidson owners and all other motorcycle riders drive together as a group and this year was no exception! From where I was standing in Port Shepstone, the mass ride lasted about 17 minutes going both ways. Not as impressive as previous years, but impressive on its own. Below is a video we made of the event. Enjoy! =)~ | ||||||||
