This week will once again see hundreds of bikers from across South Africa to rally to Margate for the annual Africa Bike Week (23 – 26 April). Being a long weekend (Monday 27 April is Freedom Day) everyone can take some time off to join in the multiple activities such as, among other things, exhibitions, Harley-Davidson dealers and demonstrations, live music, beach party (Thursday 24 April), beer tent and lots and lots of biker guys and gals. Watch out for the New Harley-Davidson Street. There is a rumor going around that this year there will be an entry fee into the main area. The official mass ride will be Sunday 26 April and all bikes are welcome!
Some of my highlights include Friday at 10:30 PM when Jack Parow will he hitting the stage with his witty lyrics and Sunday at 3 PM when one of our awesome local bands, the Harkin Kings will be rocking the main stage. Don’t miss out!
